Loesje - Rustavi

Tiem, kas nezin angļu valodu, lai runā bildes. ;) Bet īsumā - dažas radošas lietiņas Valentīndienā, kad ciemos bija atbraucis mans armēņu draugs Vahagn - vispasaules siržu terorists. :)
-------------------------------------?_*&________>:)_____________----------

It has been a while since I have made my first Latvian steps into doing my volunteer service in Georgia. My duties include meeting local Loesje people and helping them to spread the posters in Rustavi. With the help of Berlin office, I obtained contacts of some Georgian activists and I quickly got in touch with them. I was so happy to organise Loesje workshops together with them. We found it amusing to create new ideas, cooperate and just spend good time with people who have common „heart thing”. Even more, from the first day of my being in Rustavi, I have been dreaming to wake up one morning and see my Rustavi city full with Loesje posters. Later I found out that I was not the only one with wishes to cause the Loesje posters’ explosion in Rustavi.

Then I met Levan. As I know, right now he is the only active Loesje person here. At the beginning things were rolling very slow, as all things do in Georgia. Levan seemed tired of being alone in attrackting attention of people and inviting some more people to join him in Loejse actions. But all his efforts seemed to be in vain.

Then one day we made to each other unexpected last moment call for Loesje text writing workshop. And in Rustavi city on Saint Valentine’s day we, the four Loesje lovers with different nationalities – me,Latvian girl, Levan,Georgian boy, and two of my friends – Vahagn from Armenia and Tierri from Belgium gathered for a workshop.

Saint Valentine’s day in Georgia was sunny and warm, sky was so blue, streets full with wedding’s cars who were making big noise and at every street’s corner old woman was selling spring flowers and roses. People were bright and happy. And we decided that the world was too round to sit silent in the corner and that this day was perfect for coming together and restarting Loesje movement in Georgia.

We talked a lot how to spread Loesje ideas and how to make people to love this wonderful girl. Together we created many new Armenian-Georgian cooperation ideas and decided to organise Loesje text writing workshop, but in night to make poster explosion at Rustavi streets.

We drove to the highest point in Rustavi, the top of the mountain, from where we could see all the city down to your legs and where we were entertained (not disturbed ) many times by new couples who were coming there to make wedding’ pictures. Later some more Georgian friends joined us and we made there so nice picnic with Loesje text writing workshop and beer drinking. The day was full with laughing, sun’s touches and very very big dose of positivism. We spent great day in love with Georgia and Loesje world.

After the picnic in Loesje style we came back to my flat where we made posters, printed them out and made glue using flour and water because we could not buy it in Georgian shops, they were all closed before we finished posters. Then we went at the streets and the glue we prepared did a perfect job in sticking Loesje posters veryyy hard on the walls.

At the next day i woke up so happy and couldn’t wait the moment when i woud go out and see our yesterday’s job on a day light. Some posters was already taken away, but the biggest part still was enjoying their STAR hours on Rustavi streets’ walls.

After this day and night action we decided not to stop on front of done things, our heads now are full with fresh ideas, we will try to find some more new Loesje activists here and make bigger team.

We are promising - soon you will hear again about Loesje’ steps on Georgian land.

-------------------------------------:))------- =)

Un nākamajā dienā Rustavi pamodās šāda :)
